HSG-600-ED
Twin contact welding up to 180°
You can use the HSG-600-ED twin contact welder to weld contacts onto both sides of the carrier tape at the same time and at any angle up to 180° – in a welding station.
The innovative solution (EU patent 03450047.0) requires just one welding control. Furthermore, two electrodes are saved. Adhesion to the lower electrode is also ruled out because there is only contact through the precious metal.

Special features in the process
Independently of each other, two contact sections can be fed simultaneously on the upper and lower sides of the carrier strip and welded together opposite each other. In the process, the two welding units are operated independently of each other. During welding, the contact section is held only by the electrode - the surrounding area is free. Thus, no undesirable shunts are possible.
Electrodes are cooled or uncooled electrode wheels with up to 32 working surfaces. The electrode wheels can be easily rotated or changed from the front.
The HSG-600-ED essentially consists of two modified Type 600-E contact welders. They can also be temporarily separated and operated separately (with two additional lower electrode units).
Efficiency in production
Cam-controlled sequences ensure first-class welding quality even with fast work processes. The proven cassette quick-change system for different contact welding wires or contact welding profiles allows you to change over production in no time at all.
